Can I trust the divine?

Can I trust the divine?

This is a question I hear a lot in the women I work with. Usually not in those exact words. More often it sounds like:

Can I trust money?

Can I trust my intuition?

Can I trust my creative process?

Can I trust my desire?

Underneath all those questions & many others is trust in the Divine, in God / Spirit / the Universe or however you like to refer to the force that moves all things.

Why is it so hard to trust the divine? Because it asks us to rest in a deeper trust - a trust in something much larger and more unexplainable than we can understand. Something beyond the niceties of how the present moment plays out.

It’s high spiritual practice to access your connection to the Divine & trust what comes.

But here’s an even more interesting question for you…

Can the Divine trust YOU?

Are you able to receive on the level that’s necessary? Are you able to hold & wield those energies?

So much of magick (as a spiritual practice) is about becoming a fit channel for the divine energies that want to express and flow through us.

That includes everything from drinking enough water to discernment about your sexual energy. It includes honoring your physical body with the right foods, rest, and movement, as well as the energetic, psychic, and emotional work that releases blocks and patterns.

It’s ritual and practices that put you in right relationship & receptivity with the flow of the divine, yes.

AND… it’s how you hold yourself in an argument with your partner, how you show up with men, how you interact with the grocery store clerk. The choices you make, what you take a stand for, and how you spend your time and attention.

It’s a two way street. Most of us focus on the inner work that allows us to rest in trust in the Divine. But it's a deeper spiritual practice to become someone the Divine can trust.
